With the help of GP clinical leads and CAMHS Youth Advisors (CYA), we have collaboratively produced a Good Referrals Guide for professionals looking to refer into Mindsight Surrey CAMHS.

When making referrals to us, there are key pieces of information which will enable the Single Point of Access Clinical Triage Team to identify the appropriate support more efficiently for a child or young person. The Good Referrals Guide provides advice on this information which is needed at the point of referral. All referrals are screened for levels of urgency on receipt regardless of whether they are marked as urgent.

School referrers are able to refer a child or young person directly to the CAMHS Single Point of Access rather than to their GP.
