Home learning activity to inspire children to care for the environment

A message from Wastebuster.

We understand how challenging it is for schools during this time. With parents and children due to spend an extended period at home, we want to help by providing easier access to the Surrey Primary Schools Recycle it Right Challenge. Designed to help children see how they can protect the planet by recycling right, the Challenge is a rewarding activity that can be done at home.

For your pupils to participate they need logins, which we can provide straight away. Simply email to let us know that your school would like to take part and the number of pupils you would like logins for, and we will send them to you before schools close.

The Challenge deadline has also been extended to 5 June 2020, so all schools have an opportunity to take part.

Wastebuster also has a range of helpful free resources for schools to recommend to parents that promote care for the environment at home. If there is any other support you would like to help parents provide at-home activities for children during this time, please contact us.

Recommend a colleague
Email your school name and a colleague’s contact details to and they will receive our e-newsletter and login details.
