Eco-Schools Summit 2020 - book your place now




Don’t miss out on the Surrey Eco-summit on Wednesday 22 April. Book your place now. 


The summit can help your school understand more about environmental issues and work towards an Eco-School award. This year’s summit is being delivered with a number of partners, to include, Surrey County Council, WWF, Waste Busters, Ashden LESS CO, Living streets, and the Field Studies Council. The event highlights the countywide venture to build a more sustainable future for Surrey’s schools.

The summit will be held for all schools at the Living Planet Centre in Woking, on Wednesday 22 April 2020.

This year’s summits are different to previous years and are suitable for any school staff that need help to progress with their eco work in school.

This year the summit will have a strong focus on new technologies, computer applications and energy efficiency technology. There will be new speakers, workshops and activities.

The summit will also have an emphasis on networking with other schools and environmental education providers. There will be representatives from locally based environmental organisations that can provide you with information and future support. There will be exciting and practical workshops on Energy, Waste, Biodiversity and School Grounds. Plus you will have lots of programmed in opportunity to ask questions at our Market Place.

There will be a £25 booking fee per delegate with a maximum of two delegates per school. Lunch and refreshments are included.
