Additional school aged Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) training - Summer 2020
 |
The Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) Programme involves Educational Psychologists (EPs) training Teaching Assistants (TAs) to provide emotional literacy support programmes to children who have difficulties understanding, identifying and managing their emotions. Through this, children are helped to develop skills that promote emotional resilience – skills that may ultimately make the difference between failure to achieve potential and a successful education.
