Coronavirus: latest information and advice

Novel coronavirus (COVID-19) is a new strain of coronavirus first identified in Wuhan City, China. The Department of Health and Social Care and Public Health England are carefully monitoring the coronavirus situation and have published information and advice for the public. As the situation is rapidly evolving, please check the online advice for the latest and most up-to-date information and the PHE blog for further information.

Please share the above government advice to staff and parents/carers, as appropriate.

Hygiene practices, such as regularly washing hands and always sneezing into a tissue is the best way to prevent the spread of almost any germs, including Influenza (flu) and Coronavirus. Please share the ‘Catch it, Bin it, Kill it’ campaign messaging among your school community.
